Snow Days=Craft Days~ Monday Made It

I haven't linked up with Fourth Grade Frolics for a Monday Made It in a LONG time, but this past January we had so many Snow/ Cold days I was able to do lots of crafting! Here are some things I was busy making.

My craft area was a hot mess! My husband had a peg board in the garage that he wasn't using so I asked if I could use it to help organize my craft area and he said yes.

Two sites that provided some insight and guidance are

 and
Beneath My Heart

I got the peg set from Home Depot for $12. It had 43 pieces and a little bit of everything.

The board before to...

This. I sanded it, washed it, and painted it. Then, I added it to my craft station.

So much more organized!

I also made this flower piece for the top of our TV stand mantle.

Now for a nursery project. This one only involved some mod podge, cricut (Calligraphy Collection font), gray paint and silver sparkle paint. I am so happy with how this turned out! The original idea came from Etsy

I love how it turned out! I am thinking of putting her picture next to the word she.

Now for some school stuff...Minion pointers. Super Easy! Yellow popsicle sticks, blue and black sharpies, glue and some googly eyes.

And my Pretend Play Centers (this has been a long project, but I am sure will be well worth it!).

Picture cards showing how to play with the task.

Labels made for the tasks and velcro is all attached to the back so the boxes can be changed out as needed.

Job Lanyards...thanks for the fabulous idea at Considerate Classroom!

Pretend Play shopping lists and recipes. You can find them here at the Activity Mom.

You can get the pretend play center starter kit I created here at tpt or here at tn.

This past weekend I finished up my Valentines for the kids. Go-Go Squeeze Applesauce.

Here are the tags I used if you are interested.

Last, but not least...rhyming socks. This will be great for March is reading month and Dr. Seuss. The original post for this game is here.

  1. Such a creative post :) I particularly like your Minions sticks! They are so cute. I would probably use acrylic paint instead of sharpies though, especially if I was making lots.

Thanks for sharing your socks activity too.

    1. Thanks! I think if I was doing more of the pointing sticks I would use acrylic paint too.
