I am linking up with Kacey to share what we were up to this week. You can link up here.

This week we did a little of this and a little of that. We learned about dinosaurs, but also finished up some other things that we haven't had the opportunity to do.
1. My kids have been loving the new water sensory bottles I made. I added water, glitter, beads, and food coloring to the sensory bottles. They have loved using the magnifying glass to look at the beads and bubbles too.

2. We have started some St. Patrick's Day activities...for this one they grab some coins out of a basket, count them, and then write the number.

3. We finally celebrated the 100th day of school this past Monday!

4. We built some roads and drove the cars.

5. We dug for dino bones and identified the letters.

We also counted out dinosaurs.

Last, but not least a St. Patrick's Day themed cut and paste w.s.  freebie.

Have a great weekend!

I am linking up with Christine at the Autism Classroom News to share some of our work boxes for this month.

I loved Gabrielle's over at Teaching Special Thinkers mailing a letter task, but it was a little too hard for some of my kiddos so I simplified it. I had extra foam from Valentine's day foam kit and I drew the envelope line of the back and they would just place the items on the envelope and then place it into the mailbox.

This brown bear color wheel is from Living World's Apart

This is a new put in task. I used a puffs container and animal beads.

This is a sign match up (great for transportation theme!).

I still had some of those extra foam pieces so I made numbers 1-10 puzzles. I used glitter glue to make the dots to make it more tactile for the kids.

Egg and Pom Pom Color Matching

Last, but not least a freebie for you all. This is great for developing student's language and sentence structure. You can grab it here

Also, if you can donate to my Donor's Choose Project...even just a couple of dollars it would be greatly appreciated!!!! The other ECSE teacher and I are trying to get some sensory and gross motor equipment for our kiddos. They really do benefit from our gross motor time, but we have limited resources right now and the kids would benefit from these additional materials!
You can check it out here.

I would really appreciate it and so would my kiddos!!!!!

I must admit I am glad February is done...it was a LONG month! My kiddos were sick with something new just about every week. The castle room at the dr became a weekly visit. Also, the weather here was super cold and my kiddos are getting spring fever. I can't wait for the weather to warm up and to be able to get outside and everyone to feel better!

Anyways, on to March Currently hosted by Farley.

Listening to the History channel...something about pharoahs. Matt is watching it and I am trying to get some work done.

Loving that the super cold weather we have been getting should be done! Finally!

Thinking about report cards, progress reports, papers to be copied and the list goes one!

With that said, I am needing and wanting a work day to just get caught up. Although I love cold days, we had one too many this Feb. and with report cards and progress reports to get done I haven't had time to get everything done like I hoped!

Spring Break Plans- we are heading down to TN to see Matt's family. We are going to take a short vacation in Nashville before heading down to see his family for the remainder of the week. It should be fun! What are you up to? Link up with Farley to share!
