This week I am sharing my work box task freebie. This is great if you are just starting to make work boxes/ task boxes for your kiddos. The items are cheap to make (you may even have all the items) and easy to make.

There are three more activities included too. You can grab this freebie here.

I have a few new work box activities for my kiddos this fall. In my afternoon class I have a large range of skills among my students so I wanted to make sure to have a little bit of everything for all of them to be challenged.

Missing Numbers. Students will place the missing number dots in the spaces. There are also pattern dots that I need to laminate.

Subtracting dots. Students can also use dry erase markers to cross out some of the dots if they need additional help.

Addition Dots.

Counting out dots 1-10.

Color Clip Cards. Clipping the items that have the same color.

Clipping the color of the item.

Students clip what size the dots are.

Students will clip the dot with the same face as on the picture.

I saw this saying and just LOVE it! I made one and sprayed the frame aqua blue for our hallway.

This 3D Wall Art my husband even likes, which is saying a lot. It is made out of straws. You can read more about how to make it here from This is Our Bliss. She made her's black, but I used

I LOVE this spray paint! I have used it for many different projects!

I was looking for something to put in the middle and I didn't want to spend a lot. I couldn't find any wall art or clocks that was sticking out to me so I made this.

For the classroom I made this Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Game board. This idea came from The Many Little Joys.

This alphabet skills game is perfect for preschoolers and is a great extension activity to go along with the beloved book, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
To make it a little more challenging I mixed up the letters, but you can do it either way.

Have a great Monday and check out Fourth Grade Frolics for more Monday Made It ideas!

Today I am going to share my circle time folders. This is something we came up with last year. Last year I had individual sheets for the abc's, numbers, colors, shapes, etc. and it was a bit overwhelming. So we condensed everything down to one manila folder that they can hold throughout the entire circle time. The students' point to each of the skills as we do them.
This back page is not available as it is from another resource, but if you have that song it comes in the CD pamphlet.

This is a much easier way than having a separate sheet for all of the items and it takes a lot less time to hand out one folder versus multiple papers.

I am linking up for Show and Tell Tuesday! You can link up with Forever in 5th Grade here

Since coming back from vacation I have finally painted our living room. I have been wanting to do this for quite some time! It is actually a light shade of gray (the picture make it look more tan). The kiddos even helped me out.

Although I feel like this summer is flying by! I did stop at Target and pick up a few items from the Dollar Spot. Some shape and number magnets, a new calendar, and a couple of puzzles and birthday certificates.

I have started prepping for next year. I have started getting my name matching for my new kiddos.

Last, but not least I have been LOVING swimming eating popsicles and ice cream and just hanging out with these two! Lots of fun!

What have you been up to this month?! Link up with Forever in Fifth Grade to share.

I am linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for Monday Made It. This week was pretty chill at our house so I actually had some time to make some of the items on my list.
Name matching. I make these for all of my kiddos. I made some of them for my new students starting in the fall. Make sure to color code them so that each child has their own color. :)

My aunt who was a special ed teacher for 37 years retired this year. She brought me over LOTS of goodies. She game me this file holder which I was going to be buying one this year to help keep track of my IEPs to do, incoming students to screen, etc. Her's was still in great condition but was lacking some color so I added some extra fabric to it.

I made my contact information magnets. I have not made them in a couple of years, but I thought I should start doing it again. I just print out labels with the information, add the stickers to old magnets I have and then give them out at Open House. Very easy, but very helpful for parents to find those important phone numbers.

I repainted the living room a couple of weeks ago and have slowly been trying to freshen up the look of it. It has been quite the process to say the least. We have a mantle/ shelf above our tv and was looking for something fun to decorate it with besides the many lego creations and missing pieces to games and puzzles so I made these spheres out of embroidery hoops. You just stain them and piece them together however you like. I love them and they are way cheaper to make than purchase! I think these cost me about $5 total and I had the stain from some previous projects.

You can see how to make them here. They are very easy! Now I am on the hunt for a clock or some wall art to place in the middle of the mantle. We will see what I can find.

Anyways, have  a great Monday and thanks for stopping by! :)

I am linking up with Kacey for five for Friday.
1. So I have been wanting to repaint our living room for some time and Matt finally agreed to it!
I have been LOVING gray especially when there are accent colors of teal and blue.
Here was some of my inspirations...

Looking for a warm #GrayPaint color? Here are five #SherwinWilliams colors to choose from. SW paints are our top recommendation for our #Bellingham WA customers.

love the pops of colour with grey. When you are sick of the blue, its easily replaced by yellow, purple, or green ect. Instead of completely redecorating the whole room.:
2. My sister visited this week from KS and she came over to go swimming. I wish she lived closer so we could hang out more!
3. I went to Target this week and scoped out some of the school supplies. These were a few of the items I picked up.

4. It has been crazy hot here so we have been enjoying the pool and ice cream and popsicles.

5.  You can find a fall freebie here

Have a great weekend!
