Dinosaur Activities

This week we learned all about dinosaurs and the kids loved it!

We used our core vocabulary boards to show same vs. different. The kids cracked the dino eggs open and had to state if the dinosaur inside was the same or a different color than the egg.

We made these cute hand print stegosaurus.

We clipped the stegosaurus plates on (colored clothespins).

We made dino prints with dinosaurs.

We dug dinosaur bones and stamped the letters we found.

We also counted out dinosaurs 1-10.

We matched dinosaurs.

We colored the book Dinosaur, Dinosaur What Do You See?

And we read Where is the T-Rex? and placed the t-rex in the correct place.

Bones, Bones, Dinosaur Bones A great way to explain the job of a paleontologist.

Oh My Oh My Oh Dinosaurs! (Boynton on Board)
This is a great book about opposites.

  Dinosaur Dance!

Noisy Dinosaurs (My First Touch and Feel Sound Book)
My kids loved this one because they could push the button and here the sounds of the dinosaurs and each dinosaur!

We had a fun week! Next week we are going to start learning about baseball and spring!
Have a great Sunday!
