Let's Go Camping!

My kids were SUPER excited about these camping activities and it kept them bust for a few hours this morning! In the Let's Go Camping Literacy and Math Activities there is also dramatic play ideas.

You can set up a camp.

I made a fire out of two paper towel rolls and tissue paper.

You can make smores.

The kids can go fishing in boxes or large sterlite containers.

And then can cook the fish over the fire.

The magneitc fish are from Lakeshore Learning.

You can lay out tracks and have your students go on a hike to find the animals and write them on the recording sheet.

You can make bug boxes out of shoeboxes or these wood boxoes were $1 at Michaels. We used small rocks and easter grass so it doesn't go bad.

Now on to the literacy and math activities.

There is matching camping items and beginning sound identification that is similar.
