I have made a few tasks that are great for table time or for work boxes and all of the materials I had on hand and were free!

These tactile sensory cubes came from Jessica at Wild and Fun in Pre-K. I made mine a little different. I used a kleenex box and filled it with noodles. I added different pieces of fabric around it that I had at home. So this didn't cost me a penny! :) If the kiddos enjoy it I am going to make more.

These felt flowers came from The Kindergarten Connection.  Another freebie as I had all of the materials on hand. :)

The tulip idea came from Little Minds at Work. I used thick cardstock and tied the yarn around the popsicle stick for students to lace.

Check out Monday Made It for more fun ideas. Happy 4th of July!

I love these touch and feel cubes from Jessica in Wild and Fun in Pre-K!

I plan on making some for my classroom this summer!

Another item on my to do list this summer is to make...

Fine Motor and Color Matching Flowers from The Kindergarten Connection. The great thing about these is I have all of the materials here at home. :)
Fine motor skills are important to develop in early childhood. Work on strengthening those fine motor muscles with this fun color matching activity!:

Something I want to do with my kiddos next year at the start of the year is this textured bubble wrap bus! How fun is that?! This is Crafty Kids at Home.

1. Well, last week we went to Disney. It was so much fun! I am happy to be home though. :) The heat in FL was terrible (mid-90s and high humidity).

2. I love naptime! I have been working on cleaning up my desktop! Madi's face is totally able to be seen! I had A LOT of items started, but not finished so I worked on finishing up the many things I had started! The files on the right are coming to you soon! :)

3. During naptime I also have had the opportunity to organize, laminate, and cut materials.

4. If you have purchased some of my packets...please go back and check for updates! I have been doing a ton of updating and revamping of my activity packs!

5. Now for a freebie! :)

You can have your little ones make a weather chart so they can keep track of it at home.
